Dr. Sims has the technical knowledge and experience that is necessary for discovery and evaluation of metal, aggregate, industrial minerals, and geothermal resources.  He has managed projects that include regional exploration, near-mine exploration, and development drilling.  As Vice President with EnergySource, he managed many consultants and an annual budget of approximately $1 million, and made critical real-time decisions while drilling wells that cost $8 to $18 million each to drill and line the casing.  He has successfully negotiated with agencies for land use rights and favorable terms. 

He has conducted comprehensive due diligence for mine purchases, including services that a Landman typically provides, and technical determination of potential environmental issues.  This experience is very valuable when providing comprehensive project management.
